MRI ELSC Neuroimaging Unit
Services
While using some sequences or scanning certain brain regions is relatively standard, in other cases obtaining reliable data can be quite challenging due to distortions, interferences, and complex interactions between tissue and machine. Our team consists of an MR physicist, MR technician, and a neuroscientist who are ready to combine their theoretical, clinical, and experimental knowledge and experience to help you collect the best possible data.
If you are uncertain about the best way to adjust your behavioral experiment to an fMRI setting, our team can help you decide on the best strategy to be taken. In particular, we offer help with:
- Paradigm design
- Choosing analysis approaches
- Introducing stimuli delivering tools.
- Introducing preprocessing and analysis tools
The ENU team has considerable experience with collecting physiological measurements and eye tracking data. While as a researcher you will be the one who ultimately collects the data, we offer guidance, training, and support to help you utilize the appropriate equipment to the most.
Our ethics specialist has CRA training and years of experience working with the Helsinki committees and Israeli health authorities. Among other things, we can offer help with:
- Initial research approval
- Protocol and IC amendments
- Protocol extensions and termination.
- Monitoring
Tutorial visits are a great way to expand the horizons of young audiences, offering them a glimpse on current scientific research, and exposing them to cutting edge technologies. At the ENU, we offer tours of the facility, including a short lecture and seeing the MR scanner at work. A truly unique experience!
