Currently, I am engaged in the study of dynamic compartmental computations within the tuft dendrites of pyramidal cells. The process of compartmental modeling in tuft dendrites entails depicting the dendritic structure of pyramidal cells as a sequence of interconnected compartments. By identifying similarities in the electrical behavior of various segments within the intricate dendritic structure, it becomes possible to partition the tuft into distinct computational units. My focus lies in understanding the factors that influence this compartmentalization.
