Rona Shaharabani

ronas@mail.huji.ac.il

She earned her B.Sc. in chemistry (Cum Laude) and Ph.D. (Lipid-protein interaction in myelin sheaths; myelination and demyelination) from Tel-Aviv University.
Her interests are in the field of biophysics, myelin, self-assembly, molecular biology, molecular electronics, X-ray scattering, electron microscopy techniques, MRI and NMR.
Her current work in the Mezer lab focuses on the sensitivity of qMRI signal to changes in water surface interactions in biological systems, specifically myelin sheath.
