I earned my Ph.D. in the Genetics Department at Sagiv Shifman’s lab, where I investigated the molecular and neurodevelopmental role of the Pogz gene—one of the top genes associated with autism. During my research, I developed and extensively characterized a novel Pogz-deficient mouse model.
Currently, I am a joint postdoctoral researcher in the labs of Yosi Yarom and Sagiv Shifman. My research focuses on the role of amygdala neurons in the sex-specific social abnormalities observed in the Pogz mouse model.
