Postdoc opportunity in the Avitan lab: “Whole-brain neural basis of goal directed behavior at single cell resolution”

A postdoctoral position is available in the field of the neural basis of goal directed behavior, under the supervision of Dr. Lilach Avitan.

The lab is using cutting-edge, whole-brain imaging at single-cell resolution of the larval zebrafish, and behavioral imaging in combination with computational, statistical and mathematical tools, to uncover a mechanistic, circuit-level explanation for different behaviors.

Requirements:

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in neuroscience or a related discipline (e.g., physics, computer sciences), and should have published experience in imaging neural activity or behavior. Candidates must be proficient in English.
