Postdoc opportunity in the Goshen lab: “Neurons and Astrocytes in High Brain Function”

A postdoctoral position is available in the field of neural and glial interaction in high brain function, under the supervision of Prof. Inbal Goshen.

The Goshen lab is using multiple tools (2-photon imaging, projection targeting, electrophysiology and behavior) in combination with optogenetics and pharmacogenetic manipulations of neurons and astrocytes to study high brain function – reward and the transition from recent to remote memory – in mice.

Requirements:

Candidates must hold a PhD degree in Neurobiology or a related discipline (e.g. Physics or Computer sciences) and should have experience in animal research / imaging / electrophysiology or related methods. Candidates should be team players, proficient in English, and interested in publishing in high impact papers :)
