A postdoctoral position is available in the field of Human Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory (HCNL), under the supervision of Prof. Leon Deouell.
Our lab investigates perceptual (and, occasionally, decision-making) processes and their relation to conscious awareness. What determines whether an event is consciously available or not? What is the difference between processing with and without conscious awareness? We aim to investigate these questions using experimental psychology while employing multiple brain imaging modalities, especially EEG, combined with simultaneous eye tracking, intracranial ECOG, or fMRI. The successful candidate will join a recently funded project trying to bridge the signals acquired using these different modalities.
