B.A and Master’s degree– Bio medical science. Today, I’m looking for the cellular mechanism by which neuropathic pain is perceived. Specifically, I focus on rat dorsal horn neurons within the spinal cord and using whole cell patch clamp, fast sodium imaging and immunostaining, to find the plasticity of the axon initial segment in those neurons.
