Georg Chechelnizki
PhD Student
Georg obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from Ruhr University Bochum. He then enrolled in the Computational Neuroscience Master’s program of the Bernstein Center in Berlin. His M.Sc. thesis work, supervised by Prof. Henning Sprekeler, was concerned with the dynamics of competitive circuits with inhibitory plasticity that can be used to model a wide range of cognitive functions, such as signal amplification/attenuation and decision making. After completing his thesis, Georg joined the Computational Neuroscience Ph.D. program at the Hebrew University.
