During my PhD I studied gamma-band activity in EEG. Specifically, our main finding was that the commonly-observed induced gamma-band response in EEG is in fact an oculomotor artifact produced by the contraction of muscles during small saccades. Today I am a PI at the School of Psychological Science, Tel Aviv University. Research in my lab focuses on vision and attention in humans and specifically in relation to eye movements. We study eye movements as a window to perception, attention, memory and social behavior. We also examine the development of attention through observing eye movements in infants ages 3-12 months.
