During my PhD I used EEG to challenge the notion that error processing in the brain can take place without being aware of the error. I showed that error detection is dependent on subjective awareness, and also provided an explanation of the conflicting results in the literature, that has to do with individual criteria for error reporting and awareness measuring paradigms. Today I am the Director of R&D at a startup I founded with two friends which focuses on explainability in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). |
