Lior Fox

PhD Student

I’m currently a Ph.D. student in the ELSC brain sciences program, advised by Yonatan Loewenstein. Before that, I completed my B.Sc. in Computer Science and Cognitive Sciences at the Hebrew University.  My research focus is exploratory behavior in complex environments, where decisions are made under uncertainty and have long-term consequences. I study these questions in the framework of Reinforcement Learning. I’m also interested in mechanisms of learning in artificial and biological neural networks, in particular biologically informed neural architectures and learning rules.
