I am interested in planning and decision making in strategic environments, by agents with diverse cognitive architectures. My current research involves experimenting with virtual agents which have been trained in fundamentally different ways, within a game setting. I hope to inform contexts in which different kinds of cognitive units are leveraged to optimize decisions, such as human-machine teaming, or even within the brain itself.
