Oren investigates computation aspects of single neurons and the networks they form. He is interested in understanding the neural correlates of behavior. He replicates iv-vivo experiments on large-scale simulation of the neocortex and extracts the biophysical mechanisms that govern the phenomena that were uncovered in the in-vivo experiments.
