Brain Circle Mission

Brain Circle Mission

THE BRAIN CIRCLE
The Brain Circle (BC) is a unique intellectual endeavor worldwide. BC members convene regularly with ELSC’s scientists and students, both at the annual meeting at a picturesque location in Europe and during visits to ELSC in Jerusalem. This provides them with the opportunity to stay abreast of the latest developments in brain research. The Brain Circle (BC) unites a community of passionate friends and supporters of ELSC who share the vision of advancing our understanding of the brain and finding cures for brain-related diseases. BC members play a crucial role in shaping the future of brain research at the Edmond and Lily Safra Center (ELSC) and were instrumental in its establishment. They have contributed significantly to the education of current and future generations of brain scientists. BC members hold a revered status as esteemed guests and great friends of ELSC.

Such meetings present lectures by ELSC faculty on the latest, most exciting findings on topics such as: “Memory”; “The Aging Brain”; “Brain-inspired Technologies”. The meetings also include invitees that are world-renowned artists and scholars. For example, Michal Rovner, Ron Arad, and Sir Antony Gormley have participated in past BC events.
• Help support fellowships for ELSC Post-doc fellows.
• Have direct access to ELSC faculty for any brain-related consultation.

BC members commit themselves to supporting ELSC with an annual donation of $10,000 per year over the course of three years.
Your partnership with the Hebrew University will facilitate new discoveries in brain science research that will lead to a better understanding of the human brain, and will be at the forefront of innovations that will have impact on the well-being of us all.
