My PhD thesis was on the cortical representation of persistent visual stimuli – I studied how the visual system responds to visual stimuli that are sustained over time, beyond the very short stimulation time scales that are typically employed for studying visual perception.

After completing my PhD and taking a long sabbatical, I am currently employed as an applied AI researcher at SparkBeyond, where I research and implement new AI capabilities in a platform designed to automatically generate complex insights and predictive models from diverse data.
