TRP Channels in Vision and Pain- Minke's lab

We are combining molecular, electrophysiological and behavioral approaches in nociceptive neurons of transgenic mice and photoreceptor cells of Drosophila mutants to investigate the critical roles of TRP channels in health and disease. The successful candidate will join one of several projects that study the underlying mechanisms of nociception in mice and phototransduction in Drosophila.

Requirements:

Candidates must hold a PhD degree in Neurobiology or related disciplines and should been experienced in molecular biology, imaging and electrophysiology (experience in in-vivo approaches is an advantage). Candidates should be proficient in English.
