Emotions: An international itinerant conference 8 topics in 8 cities

“Emotions” is a first-of-its-kind international conference organized by Brain Circle Italia in partnership with The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. It will include eight meetings spaced throughout the 2021-22 academic year, beginning in Jerusalem and then continuing in Genoa, Rome, Lugano, Milan, Geneva, London, and Lisbon. In each city, a specific topic related to emotions will be addressed, in collaboration with a local university or research center.

“Emotions” will feature distinguished women neuroscientists to honor the memory of Nobel laureate Rita Levi-Montalcini, who championed the advancement of women in science.

The “Emotions” conference will begin with the Jerusalem meeting titled: ‘Understanding Emotions’, which will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021. The event will be hosted by the Hebrew University’s Edmond and Lily Safra Center for Brain Sciences (ELSC), at the Isaac and Luba Becker Auditorium, Goodman building, Givat Ram campus. This meeting will be dedicated to issues of understanding emotions, with reference to the latest research in the field of neuroscience.
