PhD Student

Yaki Caspi performed his B.A in Medical sciences at The Hebrew University and joined  the Binshtok lab for his PhD in 2013

His research focuses on (1) Activity dependent plasticity of the axon initial segment in dorsal horn neurons and 
 (2) The cross-talk between mitochondria and TRPV1 channels in DRG nociceptive neurons
He has mastered  mitochondrial and cytioplasmic calcium and sodium imaging and electrophysiology
